About me
Jessica is the Assistant Curator for the Music Division as well as the Rodgers & Hammerstein Archives of Recorded Sound at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts. She previously worked as a project archivist at the Library of Congress' Music Division and as a sound recordings cataloger at the Southern Folklife Collection. She holds a PhD in Musicology from Duke University and an MSLS from UNC-Chapel Hill (archives concentration) and has particular interest in documenting vernacular music of the U.S.
