About me
Judy Tint is an attorney, professor, and musician with over 30 years of experience
representing artists, songwriters, producers, executives, and more. A graduate of
Rutgers College and Columbia La School, she is a Clinical Associate Professor in the
NYU Music Business Program, and served for twelve years as a Governor and Officer
of The Recording Academy's NY Chapter. She is Immediate Past Chair of the ABA
Forum on Entertainment and Sports Industries, an alumna of Leadership Music, a
longtime Board member of the Rhythm and Blues Foundation, and a frequent speaker
at industry conferences nationwide. She has made numerous trips to Capitol Hill to
advocate for artists’ and songwriters’ rights. Judy is also a vocalist, percussionist, and
songwriter who has recorded with artists across multiple genres, and has performed at
Carnegie Hall, The Ryman Auditorium, Radio City Music Hall, the Portland Waterfront
Blues Festival, London’s REWIND Festival, and on Broadway, as well as appearing on
“Late Night With Conan O’Brien” and on multiple PBS specials. She is a firm believer in
